Beginning

Beginning Level Tutor Certification (Levels 1, 2, and 3)

Before you can register, you need to tutor a minimum of two students all the way through Levels 1, 2, and 3.

Advanced

Advanced Level Tutor Certification (Levels 4, 5, and 6)

    You must be a Certified Barton tutor who has tutored a minimum of two students all the way through Levels 4, 5, and 6.

    Masters

    Masters Level Tutor Certification (Levels 7, 8, 9, and 10)

    Technical Requirements

    Desktop or laptop computer (not a Chromebook or iPad)
    Reliable, high-speed internet
    High definition webcam
    Computer headphones with built-in microphone
    Handheld computer mouse
    Your own set of up-to-date tutor manuals
    Printer (for Advanced and Masters sessions only)

    Each eight hour Barton Certification session runs from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. California time.
